If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on our website, we require your email address as well as information which allow us to check that you are the owner of the provided email address and that you agree to the reception of the newsletter. You can also register for our mailing services via postal dispatch, if you provide your postal address on a voluntary basis. And you can register for our update emails by activating the respective check box during the registration or in your already existing user profile. Apart from other voluntary personal details in the registration form, further data will not be collected. We use those data exclusively for the sending of the requested information and do not transmit them to third parties apart from specialized service providers that assist us in distributing the newsletter and update emails (Cleverreach) and the postal dispatch (letter shop). Our German service provider Fundraising Box saves the donor’s name, account number and email address, in case the donor wishes to receive a donation receipt also the donor’s postal address. Fundraising box sends some of this info to Urgewald for the internal donations processing. In order to process the donations Fundraising Box also sends some of the donor’s data to the payment service provider Micropayment. Paypal donations are processed through the donor’s Paypal account. Urgewald receives some of the donor’s data from Paypal to be able to process the donation.
